Ann Summers Femme Fatale Luxury Thigh to Cuff Restraint Set Review

I popped into Ann Summers on a recent weekend trip to Oxford. I don’t typically venture into Ann Summers as it is primarily lingerie and I’ve found the toys to be relatively tame.

However, I made an exception, and was actually pretty impressed with their range of BDSM restraints – clearly they’ve upped their game in this department since I was last in there.

I was drawn to the Femme Fatale Luxury Thigh to Cuff restraint (view at Ann Summers) – a thigh and wrist four-piece faux leather restraint set in off red with gold metal trim. For £40 it was reasonably priced, and I purchased it along with a matching collar and leash for £20.

My thoughts on the Ann Summers BDSM thigh to cuff restraints

I’ve purchased thigh restrains from Ali Express in China before, but they were thin and the quality wasn’t great. This Ann Summers set felt sturdier, and even though it isn’t real leather, it feels more luxurious. The width of the thigh restraints helps them stick to the skin and stay in place, whilst avoiding cutting off circulation.

I also like the fact there are multiple D-ring attachment points on the thigh restraints, meaning I can clip the cuffs to the inside or outside of the thigh depending upon what position I want to put my sub in.

The set comes with a faux leather cross with D-rings at each end. The standard use is to clip the two wrist cuffs and two thigh cuffs to each attachment point, restricting the range of motion of the person wearing them.

Alternatively I can clip the wrists directly to the thigh restraints and not use the X at all. I like the position where my sub has her wrists attached to the outside of her thighs – there is something very slave-like about this position to me.

I’ve only done a couple of scenes with this thigh to cuff restraint set so far. Here are a couple of ways to use the set in a D/s dynamic:

• Bend them over the bed. Fasten the wrists to the outside of the thigh cuffs and have her bend over the end of the bed, her feet remaining on the floor. This position is perfect for spanking, and fucking from behind. Have her spread her legs so you can use a magic wand on her clit, or insert butt plugs and dildos into her. If your sub is male then you might want to have him move away from the bed a little bit so you can reach around to stroke his cock.

• Household outfit. Have them wear the wrist and thigh cuffs around the house and be naked otherwise. Don’t attach the wrists to anything, and don’t use the X. It’s just hot to see them wearing nothing but restraints.

• All fours. Have them kneel on the floor and attach the wrists and things to the X, or directly to the thigh cuffs, but to the inside D-ring rather than the outside.
